  • I admit I was a bit skeptical when my husband said we were stopping here, but I was so pleasantly surprised! We went by the Blacksmith demonstration which was fascinating and then we got a tour of the original Deere house. It was a great little trip back in history with lots of gorgeous landscape. • It was amazing. Our tour guide Dan was wonderful in givi us the history on John Deere the man. The Blacksmith Rex was fabulous. He was wonderful in explaining how John Deere started out in that blacksmith shop he built. It's a must to see
