Grand Theater, Grand Island

Literally my favorite little weekend evening stop in the Grand Island area. I love that it's run by volunteers and its a local project so my family's not overpaying for tickets, snacks, drinks, etc. just to support some big corporation. I love that the movies aren't too far eremoved from the big theaters and that they listen to the community! i.e. if something is big for a weekend or 2, they will keep it around another weekend. Thanks Grand ❤️❤️

I took my dad to go see Black Adam. He loved the movie. My dad has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and needs assistance with walking. Upon enering The Grand, they volunteered to help me and my dad to our seats, along with our pop & popcorn 🍿 They were so thoughtful and alot of compassion towards helping my dad. Then when waiting for everyone to clear the theatre, an unknown man came up to us in the seats and asked if he could help me with getting my dad down to the lobby. Thank you for helping my daddy sir, that really meant a lot. Then another employee offered to hold onto my dad while I went to get my car and pull directly in front of the theatre. Thank you so much for all the assistance we recieved from the employees at The Grand. My dad had a great night!!
