20 Monroe Live Reviews
It's a neat little venue, tucked away next to The BOB. We came to see Iliza Shlesinger (and Hunter Hill), along with a billion other millenials. The show itself was awesome and we were lucky to score ... more »
Small and intimate for Rick Springfield stripped down. Quick and easy admittance and same getting out when show was over. We had great seats, Rick even came out in the audience and I got to dance with... more »
My wife and I visited this venue for the first time on March 6th to see a show with Nothing More as the headliner. I was very impressed. My only issues were a few other patrons, but nothing bad. The 20 Monroe Live staff were all very professional and constantly on point. Security was very quick and courteous. Pointer - don't bring anything you don't need (anything considered a weapon is not allowed) and have your pocket items in your hands (phone, wallet, keys, etc.) ready to go when the wand you down. If you do, they will get you in very quickly. Have your ticket ready on your phone to scan at the door right after. No Re-Entry allowed. Seating in the upper level was very comfortable. I don't drink so I can't comment on the prices but I would imagine they are average for a venue (expensive). We were seated lower middle section of the upper level - acoustics were very good and view of the stage is still pretty good (you can see the performers fine without binoculars). One thing to be careful of - there are crowd lights that are very bright. If you're in the General Admission area on the floor, don't try crowd-surfing. The security surrounding the stage will grab you out of the crowd and send you out the side for safety reasons. Thank you to the staff of 20 Monroe Live. I will definitely return if there's another show my wife and I would like to see!
A nice venue for small concerts or comedy shows. Tickets are generally affordable, but food and drinks were overpriced: $4 for a cup of soda ($9 if you want a "bottomless" cup), $6 for a slice of pizza (pizza was very good though, and the slice was generously sized), and $10 for a small bucket of popcorn.I think they had pretzels for $4 ($1 more if you want cheese). I felt very safe here, too, as security was everywhere.
