  • Here's something you don't see every day. Brief visit. The Potholes are a geological formation formed by the glaciers.

  • We stopped here while driving south on the Teton Park Road. The potholes name relates to the glaciers from long ago. While in this area we saw a grazing elk so that made it even more worthwhile.

  • Cool place to get out and do some some exploring. The geology of Grand Teton is exquisitely cool and the potholes are part of a very long story of fault lines and glacier movements. Very cool, great view of the Teton range also from here.
  • Love the wildlife. So lucky.
