  • Nice find in the woods of Maine. This 'rescue' park features only animals found in Maine -- and it's incredible. Ok - except the peacocks... For one - most of the animals have ample room to roam...

  • This is a great spot for people of all ages. The zoo is easily navigated and has a moose. I've never seen one before and was really excited to finally get to. Some of the smaller enclosures didn't seem to be ideal for the animals, but you have to appreciate the state of Maine caring for animals that would not make it out in the wild. I highly recommend checking this place out.
  • Great way to kill 2-3 hours, for a fantastic price. Everyone on site was very friendly and helpful. We were here in mid october so a couple of the exhibits were closed due to the season but everyone else showed up! I only had one suggestion to staff, and that is to let you know in the park before the long walk to the bottom of the fish ladder that you need quarters to feed the fish. Our daughter loved this part and we didn't have enough with us. Other than that, bring your quarters and have fun!
