  • This is one of the most amazing visitors centers I have ever encountered. The views are gorgeous, of course. Parking is ample. Not only do they have regular bathrooms, but separate ones on the other side of the building with full showers in them (it is right on the Appalachian Trail). I most definitely recommend stopping for this visit. No cell service, fyi!
  • Beautiful place. It has free hot showers for Appalachian Trail hikers and a very nice shelter a short way up the road. Great place to refresh along the trail.
