  • Loved the history of the mill. This mill has been brought back to life and is still grinding fresh flour the original way. Fresh Flour is sold and supports the maintenance of the mill. The 2 men who were operating the mill were very knowledgeable and freindly.
  • This free spot is a great place to stretch your legs and explore nature and history. I was surprised to find this mill is still in operation. You can purchase freshly ground cornmeal. The hikes are nicely shaded. Ask the park ranger for directions to Enloe Slave Cemetery, which is very close to the mill.
