Create an itinerary including Goblin Valley State Park
Explore one of the county's most unusual landscapes at Goblin Valley State Park. The 1,479 ha (3,654 acre) area is known for its thousands of hoodoos and hoodoo rocks--mushroom-shaped formations known locally as "goblins." You can explore the Mars-like landscape via one of its three marked hiking trails or admire it from one of the viewpoints. Bear in mind that the park is in a desert with little shade, so dress accordingly. Plan to see Goblin Valley State Park and other attractions that appeal to you using our Green River trip site.

  • Goblin state park is worth an hour or 2 of your time if your in the area. Its $20 for a car which I think is a bit steep but hey your on vacation. The sandstone hoodoos are great. It will be very hot....  more

  • This is an amazing place to go with the family. A quick outdoorsy stop or an extended day out to hit the trail heads or climb some rocks! There is also great camping around the area. Awesome trails to hike and awesome trails to ride! Including mountain biking. This is a must see and a must do!
  • This was a wonderful park to visit, not to busy and the kids enjoyed it. I do have kids that don't mind hiking. Hiked to the Goblin's Lair. Definitely recommend this hike. Kids enjoyed the caves. Easy hiking, hardest part is climbing down in to the caves. My 8 and 10 years old did it by themselves.
