If you are willing to get off the paved walkway and onto the wooded trails you are in for a true hiking delight. The Owl's Roost Trail is about 5 miles and hugs the lake shoreline much of the way. A few challenging spots will get your heart pumping. You can really get away from it all and still be only 10 minutes from downtown Greensboro.
Great place to bring the family to swim! The whirlpool is always a big hit! My kids like playing in the splash pad during adult swim times too!
