A great place for a walk! Lots of paved trails, some of which are wheelchair accessible. The garden has flowers most times of year. A newly built mill replica is fun to explore. At the back of the garden are two porch swings that are perfect for a relaxing break from your walk. It’s a perfect spot for a photo shoot, but be sure to get the necessary permits.

The Tanger Family Bicentennial Gardens is one of my favorite places in Greensboro! It's beautifully landscaped with various flowering annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees. There are many interesting sculpture throughout the gardens - Free To Soar, The Student, Wings, and Music Stand & Bench are a few of my favorites. The Old Mill is a recent addition to the park and is a free standing water wheel that's very relaxing to watch while sitting on a nearby bench. I really love the Bicentennial Gardens and enjoy taking Josey Wales, my Mini Schnauzer, there for daily walks. I would also highly recommend visiting the Bog Garden at Benjamin Park, which is right across the street.
