Falls Park on the Reedy, Greenville

4.9
Built on reclaimed land from textile mills, Falls Park on the Reedy is home to the Upstate Shakespeare Festival. Enter the park's pedestrian bridge from Main Street in the West End District, where you'll also find the visitor center and restaurants. The first point of interest is the large bronze sculpture by Bryan Hunt next to the entrance. A footpath crosses over the cascades and the remaining wall of a 1776 grist mill. • We went for a walk and ended up here. We walked down to the bottom of the falls and just relaxed. Nice park. It was hot but you can find shade. It was pretty busy .  more »

  • If you are reading reviews here and planning to decide whether to go here or not then you are wasting precious amount of time you have got.. Just go there for a walk , with your pets or try and go for run.. Its all fun and I am thankful to all the hard work and minds who made this park beautiful.. Simply love this place :)
  • Beautiful park with many paths to enjoy. The liberty bridge offers spectacular view of the falls along with the surrounding park area which has many flowers to gaze upon while watching the wildlife at play. Grab your camera get ready to take advantage of several great photo opportunities that are ahead, don't forget the large tree with the massive root system 😉 There are public restrooms available at the elevator. Have Fun
  • THIS PLACE IS GREAT! We were trying to find somewhere to walk downtown, and were planning to walk the main shops, but we saw the park and were so happy! Coming from out of town, we had no idea this was here; the park was the best thing about our visit by far. Gorgeous lawns and landscaping, and such an amazing place to unwind.
  • This is the most beautiful park I have ever been to in my whole life. Pure perfection... Right in the middle of downtown Greenville, you have waterfalls, flowers, ducks, dogs, people, landscaping... And, the Swamp Rabbit Trail runs through it! Lots of people bring their dogs (leashed) so it is a fun and lively place to hang out in nature's splendor!
  • Nice relaxing place to grab something at the local eateries then sit and enjoy some nature. Pleasant water falls and sounds to sooth the mind. ALTHOUGH the bridge is under construction for a few more weeks for maintenance and some paint work.
