Vala's Pumpkin Patch, Gretna

Visiting this pumpkin patch is definitely an all day event. It can get pricey but the kids always have a great time. We love picking out our pumpkins of course but the cider donuts, train ride, pedal carts, and the corn pit are some of my kids' favorite activities. Renting a fire pit for your family or group is a lot of fun too! We always go with our Girl Scout Troops and have so much fun!

Love going to Vala's every other year or so just to give it time to change enough to keep it exciting. We went last night and I loved all the updates, especially the hard cider. The shows are always good. I love the cookies and the turkey legs. The hot beef is my favorite and the fire works and pie are a great way to end the night. I wish they could change two things: dust off the animatronics in the little houses and mazes, just maybe new clothes and props and paint. I remember them from when I was a kid and I just wish someone would give them some love! Also the gift shops, everything is a little dusty and old, if they would simply refresh the items like literally just pick them up and dust them every once in a while I bet they'd sell A ton more. But very fun for the whole family we love coming to Vala's!
