Korbel champagne has historical significance in Sonoma County because the Korbels, an immigrant family from what is now the Czech Republic, began their legacy of wine- and champagne-making here in the 19th century. You can see how the legacy started firsthand on a tour of the champagne cellars, which also includes a visit to the history museum and a tasting. Tours happen daily and are free; you don't need reservations if there are fewer than 10 people in your group.
