  • Wonderful place for a walk or picnic. Super playground for small children. Magnificient Oak trees. Lake with a breeze and places to fish.

  • Took a picnic lunch on our first trip to the park. Was not crowded at all around 1:00 on a Thursday. Large beach area on the lake with plenty of pavilions, benches for setting and enjoying the water views. There were walking areas and beautiful shade trees all over the park. Very well kept park.
  • Hidden gem. This place is hidden in plain sight. It's the perfect community water park for families. It's a few blocks down from the area of Wells Fargo bank. There is a full sized pool with a deep and shallow side manned by lifeguards. Then there is a kiddie pool area with overhead dump buckets that drench you unexpectedly. They have a small kiddie water slide but it was closed during my visit. There is a full sized adult water slide but kids can go on as long as they meet the height requirements. There is also a splash/sprinkler area to play in. It's $5 per person to get in but their system was down, so we got in free. They have concessions to buy food like hotdogs, burgers, and nachos (that are amazing) but the options were limited when I went. There are many sitting areas, both covered and opened some with tables and cabanas with chaise lounges. We loved it and we'll be back soon.
