  • I would give this 6 stars if I could. We went as part of a cruise ship excursion and everything was amazing from the bus driver to everyone working there. The animals were well cared for and we got amazing photos. We had a 2 year old with us and you will need to watch kids closely as these are wild animals (no fingers in fences!). Like others said it was a decent amount of walking on dirt paths and not stroller friendly. There was a gift shop at the end. There were also a couple of bathrooms.
  • I normally cry at zoos or places with animals in captivity but this place was amazing! The bond between Patrick and the wolves was very touching! I love that he takes them on hikes every day! Steve is very entertaining. I think the greatest compliment you can give a person is they are interesting (who wants to be boring?!?) and Steve is a very interesting person. His tour was funny, interactive and he tried to connect with everybody in the group. The animals were lovely! I think they find us as entertaining as we find them endearing. It is my understanding that many, if not all, of the young by State law, are not rehabituated into the wild once the orphans enter into a facility. I think the greatest gift Steve and his staff give, is educating people on these beautiful animals. Hopefully it encourages everyone to be proactive in protecting these creatures and the world they live in.
