Louisiana Children's Discovery Center, Hammond

We visited LCDC while on a recent vacation trip with friends. We had children ranging from 2 to 16 and they all had an amazing time. We were so impressed with the amount of exhibits and that all were in great working order. There was an employee constantly walking through straightening the areas and making sure everything was tidy. My 8 year old especially loved the craft room where she was able to create a quick art project. The restrooms were super clean and attended to. The staff could not have been friendlier. We are so thankful we have this place a try for our rainy day activity. It did not disappoint.

My kiddos had a blast. They are very reasonably priced compared to other children's centers I've been to. We were there for about 3 hours. My kiddos didn't want to leave when it was time. There are multiple different areas of play so there is something for every little one to do and explore. When we go back I will probably go earlier in the morning just because when they have parties going on it does get a bit packed and hard to keep track of your kiddo(s).
