  • This was one of the most beautiful places we saw while on Kauai. Parking was no problem when we got there as it was just a little ways down from the check-in building. The lady who checked us in was super nice and answered all our questions while showing us how to read the map. They let you use walking sticks if you like and the trails are marked and easy to follow. The backdrop with the hut and the surrounding rocks makes you feel like you've been transported back to an ancestral land. It was a very peaceful experience and one I would recommend to anyone visiting Kauai.
  • Beautiful place, amazing views. It poured while we were there, and we didn't care. $20 a head. Must reserve a visit via website. But if you come in on the shuttle, you don't need one. Friendly staff. Self guided tour. Quite the walk, mostly uphill. Bring good walking shoes and decent knees. Lots of stairs. Totally worth it.
