We toured the mansion, which is also a bed and breakfast. What an amazing story. If these walls could talk. It is well worth the cost to tour with the owner and contribute toward the continuing... more »
Booked a group tour with Juan as a stop on the Hannibal Trolley. Everyone in our party of 18 thoroughly enjoyed it! Juan was also our tour guide and was very informative about the property as well as local history. They are still in the process of refurbishing the exterior, and I'm sure in the end it will be the exquisite mansion it was in the day. The property is also a B&B, which would be fun to do to get the full feel of the mansion. Definitely a must see while you're in Hannibal!
I want to say first off, these hosts are absolutely amazing! It was by far one of the best stays I have ever had! The room was beautiful! My husband and I came down as a gift for me graduating with my MBA. We came in October. The view from the front porch of the mansion will take your breath away in the fall. In the evening of our first stay we had wine, cheese, and crackers. It was wonderful to be able to chat about the mansion and enjoy the company of other guests/hosts. The breakfast the next day was the absolute very best I’ve ever had! I would recommend anyone who loves history to come see this place ! You won’t be disappointed! It is one of the most memorable trips I have ever had.
