  • The pony express office is what is was back in that time period, the location is very nice. What it would have been back in those days.
  • Beautiful drive out to the station. Definitely worth the time and effort! Excellent preservation of this interesting piece of American history. The guide was very knowledgeable about the station and its history, plus other interesting facts surrounding the station, current events of that period and changes that were quickly transforming how things were done. The self guided tour was perfect for us; it allowed us to see everything at our own pace. We absorbed so much history, took LOTS of photos and enjoyed talking with the guide on duty. This station also provides stamps for the National Park Passport. Three in all, because three of the trails converged at this point. We enjoyed this visit so much and it motivates us to visit more stations along the extensive route.
