Yellow River State Forest, (YRSF), is mostly forested land owned by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. It is located in the southeastern corner of Allamakee County, the most northeasterly of Iowa's counties. We’ve been visiting this campground for years now. We love it. No cell signal and no electricity. Two creek crossings to get to the campground we like. Great memories made there.
