  • We stopped for an afternoon visit and had the best experience! The Superintendent was so welcoming and excited to teach my kids about biology! I highly recommend stopping into the visitors center...

  • We stopped at Lake Poinsett State Park today to hike their trails. The park was very clean! The trails are comparable to other state parks. We will be back!

  • I did not camp here; it was just a visit. The woman at the front desk was very nice and loved our dogs. The park is nice and wish they add some more campsites and fix a few things. The lake was redone and now open for fishing. We will camp here. There are 2 trails. There is a play ground and day use sites.
  • The lake is beautiful. I liked the swing chair by the lake. My brother and me walk the trail behind park ranger station. The part we walked seem nice and not too challenging. Would like to visit again
