The Midtown Cinema was founded in November 2001 by Allen Brown and Todd Shill. For seven years, Mr. Brown brought the most innovative independent and foreign films to Harrisburg and Central PA. LIFT Development LLC now owns the Midtown Cinema and continues to expand on the vision Mr. Brown started.

Midtown Cinema is managed by Adam Porter, Director of Operations, Sammi Leigh Melville, Manager, and Stuart Landon, Director of Community Engagement.

    You can bring your beer in to the cinema from ZerOday Wonderful beer. Open your can and take it with you to a matinee. Wonderful show that are off broadway and main stream. Love IT! Prices great...

    Great variety of new independent movies as well as special movies for holiday seasons like Halloween and Christmas.

    What a wonderful place to go and see a film. Mis town screens movies you might not have the opportunity to see at a big-name theater, great employees, excellent concessions (beer, coffee, popcorn, candy, ice cream, etc.), multiple gender-neutral restrooms, and the feeling that everyone is welcome and accepted. Highly recommend. 100/10 😁
