  • This is definitely worth a visit. The visual depictions of the times are stark and moving. This is the reality of our history. Books are great, but this museum will make a lasting impact on how you view the Civil War. Reading the many posted handbills delivers authenticity and clarity to the urgent nature of war. The museum captures the treatment of slaves as property and the call to arms on both sides.
  • It's a good place. Beautiful view of the area around from the balcony. So much stuff to look at and read and watch. Enjoyed our visit and we will be back in the future.
