Wildwood Park, Harrisburg

We wanted to get some exercise in the morning and wanted to find a local park. We saw that a number of people were hiking and biking near this park so we decided to give it a try. First of all it is unbelievable to think about a swamp in the middle of Pennsylvania. This is a really unique Park and we have visited a many. There is a Great Loop that goes around the entire swamp. It is a little strenuous at times but very well maintained in easy-to-navigate. You can bike run or hike here. We didn't get a chance to try all the different trails as we were in a little bit of a time crunch. But the wildlife was amazing from cranes to ducks to various other birds. There were a number of photographers who found this location to be a dream. We are looking forward to returning on our next visit. This place is highly recommended. This park is the perfect place to go for a run. Like 85% of the path is paved and there some cool scenery. It feel good to run or jog at this spot. Other than that, it didn't really impress me too much.
