Explore More Discovery Museum, Harrisonburg

A great place for kids to learn and explore. Two stories worth of hands on activities ranging from building, experimenting, learning and having fun. Play areas range from farm animals, puppet shows, dress up, exploring an ambulance, learning about healthy habits, building with keva planks, piloting a plane, reading books, learning about money, playing games, creating with various materials, shopping, cooking, taking care of animals and fixing a car. The staff is super friendly, everything is clean and they require reservations. Plan to eat before or after because masks are required at all times.

We just visited here a few days ago and we had 12 people in our party. We actually lucked out and was able to just walk up in and pay to go in. They were not busy so they could fit us in. They do strongly suggest booking ahead of time. But they have 2 floors of various activities. The kids were going from activity to activity. There was so much to do and we had age range from 2 through 60 and everyone was having a good time. Definitely recommend coming here. And mask are now optional as I seen someone else mention that mask were required only a few months ago.
