We're a mom & pop urban, craft brewery and taproom hidden in the historic and vibrant neighborhood of Parkville, Hartford. With a constantly rotating tap list of in-house brewed beers, each visit becomes an adventure. Before you head to Hartford, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Hartford trip builder site , to make sure you see all that Hartford has to offer, including Hog River Brewing Company.
Our flagship Kölsch-style beer (our only constant beer selection) sets the tone for our approach to beer. We favor classic German styles - Dunkelweizens, Hefeweizens and Schwarzbiers - but brew across the craft beer style map including Pale Ales, IPAs, Cream Ales, Browns, Porters, Stouts, Smoked Red, Saison, etc.
Within our taproom you'll find pieces of manufacturing history, large and small, carried over from when the space was Hartford Rubber Works, later Pope Manufacturing. With an industrial slant but laid-back vibe, folks feel at home in 'Hartford's Living Room." You'll usually find a food truck outside, games inside and good conversation everywhere.
Check out our events schedule - we love to bring unique experiences to the taproom, including live music, barre classes, beer dinners, pop-up maker events and more.
Thanks for checking us out and we hope to see you at the taproom soon!

Hog River Brewing Company Reviews
地元のビールブルワリーです。 Garden party と、friend zone を飲んでみました。 どちらも IPA っぽい味がして、飲みやすいです。 他のは、アルコール度数も高いので、注意してください。 more »It is a local beer brewery. I drank garden party and the friend zone. Both taste like IPA and are easy to drink. Other, be ware, because the alcohol content is also high.
Real friendly and knowledgable staff. Beers were good. Wanted a dark one to try but the ones that they had were really good. Love the ability to take it home in the cans that press right there. more »
Great beer selection, it was nice to see they support other local breweries as well. I've seen some reviews say there is bad parking, but there is a huge parking lot almost directly across the street, 1 min. Walk. They usually have food trucks and have plenty of games to play while drinking. Friendly staff.
Thus is a great space, super brews including a wide variety, enough to suit all tastes. Great atmosphere, intelligent and really friendly and knowledgeable employees. The owners are super nice, committed to delivering a great product and neighborhoody friendly space in a warm welcoming environment. Come here, taste great beers and wine and ciders and hang out by yourself or with others. It's a cool place to be
