  • If you like art, specifically paintings you will love the place. Actually it's worth a visit just for the architecture. There are masterpieces here that predate the birth of our country. No visit to Connecticut is complete without a stop here, at one of the oldest museums in the nation. If you have a B of A card you're in luck since this is on the 'Museums on Us' list.
  • Impressive collection of everything from the old masters to modern art. We spent 4 hrs wandering the halls and could have spent another 4! Fun, interactive exhibits and kid friendly activities found scattered across the museum's 4 floors and multiple (connected) buildings. Frequently rotated exhibits mean repeat visits are never boring. It's worth making plans to see!
