Whistling Well Farm, Hastings

This place was "pure delight"!! We started at another orchard close by, but with the complete insanity at that location, we decided to head to check out this one! We were absolutely delighted with the quaint, family feel! All of the staff was pleasant, helpful, welcoming and kind. We enjoyed live bluegrass/eclectic music and beautiful grounds, including play areas for our little one. It was so much less commerical, but so perfect! It was free to enter and to use cute wagons, and we could easily pick our own apples and enjoy the Orchard. The chaos was so much less, even though it was busy. We're so glad we left the first place and ended up here. Thanks to the wonderful team who makes Whistling Well Orchard happen! This is definitely a hidden gem in our area..

We've been here going on three years now and it's always a good time. We love feeding the chickens and petting the goats. They have a good selection of apples and pumpkins and they donate money placed in the well to charity. We like supporting places like this. They also have crazy gourds, squash and food trucks serving a variety of items.
