  • I am from Kansas and go up to Colorado John Martin reservoir to fish.been a great experience every time my family and I went there. There are two bait shops close to the reservoir. I like the fact that the lake is very clean the water's clear. My eight year old daughter caught her first saugeye. Been there three different times. Not always catching fish but having a great time with my family.
  • We took time this week to speak with people at the park ranger station and museum. It was quite informative glad we stopped. We also take our bikes and ride over the dam and around the campground and lake hasty it's a very pleasant ride. The weather was so calm there was a perfect reflection of the dam in lake Hasty just beautiful. The sites in the campgrounds are very well-managed and there is not a bad site in the hole campground. We love the bird watching and the hoot owls at night are really pleasant. Facilities are always clean and well-maintained. We go here many times throughout the spring summer and fall. Reservations are now required. Reasonable prices. Good place for water activities.
