Volcano Art Center Gallery, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

An absolute must-visit on the island of Hawaii. The building itself has a fascinating history and the gallery is an excellent way to support the Center and local artists. It's thoughtfully curated and I found the most beautiful pieces of jewelry that are both unique and culturally significant. I was on the fence about my purchase (it was a big one for me,) and the folks at the shop were kind, informative, and honest without being pushy. While chatting, I learned a great deal about the Center and the island itself. I can't wait to return again someday. Shoutout to Shelby for her kindness and wealth of information.
