  • The guides with their historical knowledge and enthusiasm for the Big Island plus the fun of the ride makes this a very worthwhile thing to do. Full marks...
  • Don't wear white! This is a relaxing float through tunnels and ditches, in crystal clear knee deep water. It's particularly appropriate for kids/families. The guides were informative (of both history and nature) and funny. You'll get wet so be sure to take a change of clothes. I was chilly afterwards so maybe a jacket as well. They do offer hot chocolate in the office. It's rare that you are direct sun so don't worry much about that. Whatever you do, don't wear white. You'll get a bit muddy and I ruined a brand new swimsuit bottom.
