  • This is a great day trip. We took our time and enjoyed the whole area. Nice walking trails all level and in the shade; nice surprise. Tours were available and needed to go into the house. $3 per group in one vehicle to enter park. Honor box to pay the fee; correct change is needed. The farmhouse tour fee is $3 per adult and $2 per child. Hours 9 to 5. It is perfect for kids and all accessible for any age. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. Great restaurant “The Yearling” just up the road well worth the stop.
  • One of the nicest place for a day trip. A small farm house, may be you have seen that many times in your dreams but never expected it to exist in real world. Not very exciting, yet very close to heart- beautiful! The late January winter evening: an unplanned respite, a cup of tea was the only missing thing to enjoy the mysterious evening.
