Getaway Adventures, Healdsburg

We had the BEST experience with Getaway Adventures’ Peddle and Paddle tour. Our guide, Alex, was very fun and knowledgeable. We biked along rolling hills for about 4 miles to a small family owned vineyard where we tried the grapes and tasted a variety of wines. It was such a quaint yet laid back vineyard that was absolutely beautiful. The wine was so good we shipped some back home! We had an amazing picnic lunch with sandwiches made from Oakville Grocery in a grove of Redwood trees. Then we paddled down the Russian river and were blessed to see a family of otters. The entire experience was incredible! If you are considering this tour or any other tour with Getaway Adventures, we highly recommend it! The only thing we would suggest is to have directions handy as internet was spotty and Google Maps wouldn’t load our map until we were about 5 miles down the road.

Our experience was fantastic! Randy and Leonard had us all ready for the day, gave us maps and pointed us in the right direction. It was easy to reserve, sign the waver and we were off and riding. They understood what the purpose of our adventure was, which was a group of nine that wanted to leisurely ride around the town and the vineyards. We had a great day and will definitely patron them again.
