  • Loved the Shire Experience. Very nice staff gave us a great tour of the property. This is so neat if you like history, horses, or farms. Will definitely do this again.
  • My husband and I took the tram tour on a Saturday afternoon in July. Our driver was very friendly, and our guide was knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. We enjoyed touring the houses and the grounds, and meeting the Shire horses was the highlight of our afternoon. My only complaint is that the setup of the seats in the tram is not very comfortable when there's a full tour. Several of us decided to sit across from, instead of next to, the people in our party because it's almost inevitable that adults end up bumping into the knees of the people sitting across from them. It seems like a different seating layout would solve this issue. The tour was a lot of fun, though, and the minor discomfort didn't prevent us from having a wonderful visit.
