  • Visiting the area and looking for something to do with an 11 and 12 year old on a hot day. Park was big enough, but not too big that the kids got lost. The kids enjoyed the wave pool and slides, and a...  more »
  • The campground was just awesome. We stayed on the lake and really enjoyed the view and had a great time feeding the ducks. Didn't really enjoy the chain link fence but we understand that for safety re...  more »
  • Let me start off with the positive side of the story first. In our experience, the check on staff was extremely helpful and nice. The view of the lake was amazing, we had really great weather while we were there, (the end of July). That pretty much sums up the positive side. First, the directions for the check in location was pretty confusing but assuming you figure that out okay and get checked in and get to your cabin (FYI they tell you there if you don't take out all your trash and do all your dishes before final check out you will be charged an additional $100) - I was a little surprised about that. Anyway, when you get to your cabin make sure you have brought literally everything from your house like trash bags, coffee filters, salt, pepper, cooking utensils, ect. Next, make sure you check under all the sheets on all of the beds, that's where the spiders like to hide, and just because you got them one night doesn't mean that they won't come back the next day!! Next, be prepared to walk...A will need to drive your car to the from the cabin to parking lot of the water park (it's a long walk especially for a the hot sun!!) So if you don't all go to the park at the same time (and only have one car) someone is going to have to walk the entire way from the park to the cabin! Bottom the extra money and stay at a bug free comfortable hotel and drive to the park... your going to have to drive there anyway!!! All things I wish someone would have told me before! We ended up leaving a day early. :( (And of course no refund, but it was worth it to not sleep with bugs!!)
  • This was our first time coming here..(4 adults and 2 kids) We really enjoyed ourselves. We rented a cabana and think it was totally worth it. There is a variety of things to do to make everyone happy. Daiquiri Bar, kiddie pools, Group slides, single slides, lazy river, a lake with a beach.. etc. So fun. The Staff was so friendly and nice. The security guard named Darrell was so nice and helpful. I asked for first aid since I needed Advil badly and He actually walked me over there Instead of just pointing to it, or blowing me off which I know some people might do. He nicely reminded little kids not to run. And We just felt better when he was around. He was really cool.
