Spa at the Hotel Hershey, Hershey

Treat yourself to pampering with a hint of one of America's favorite indulgences: chocolate. At Spa at the Hotel Hershey you'll find treatments that add chocolate to every phase of the therapy, including skin care. Often this is combined with the scent of roses and a Cuban twist that pays homage to the Hershey's chocolate plantations in Cuba. The hotel's location inside Milton and Catherine Hershey's luxury hotel is nicknamed the chocolate spa. Call ahead to reserve your space for traditional therapies like massages, body wraps, and facials. In between treatments you can visit one of the relaxation rooms for snacks, including, of course, Hershey's signature hot chocolate and pastries. Make Spa at the Hotel Hershey a centerpiece of your Hershey vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Hershey trip itinerary site .

  • This place is clean, luxurious and they pay attention to detail. I had reflexology with Jackie, she was fabulous.  more »

  • The Hershey Spa is a great place to go to relax! They have a large pool, hot tub, sauna, an aromatherapy room, a quiet room and a silent room all you can use while you're waiting for your service. There is coffee tea hot chocolate and water and a few snacks available in the quiet room. I got a facial with Sarah and it was just amazing. Overall the pull day was perfect. At checkout Dawn seemed a little annoyed / uninterested but other than that it was a great day.
  • I LOVE the Hershey Spa- it is my happy place! My sisters and I always make a day out of it- making good use of their many amenities (chilling in a robe all day, quiet room, silent room, aromatherapy room, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, gym, etc). I have been numerous times and have only ever had one bad experience (which they fixed by giving me a voucher for another service). It is definitely pricey, but if you spend the whole day there it is more than worth it! PS- the hot stone massage is the best thing I've ever gotten!
  • The Hershey Spa is not just part of the sweetest place on Earth, it is the most relaxing place on Earth! We love it so much we travel from Ohio and Minnesota to be here twice year. It's the best spa!
  • Beautiful spa with exceptional service. In addition to treatments, customers can visit quiet rooms (which some of the guests should learn to leave their phones outside for), aromatherapy room, and use the hotel pool. They provide disposable bathing suits if you didn't bring your own. Light snacks available at no charge and there's a restaurant for a more substantial lunch.
  • I visited the spa for my first time yesterday as part of a work outing. I wasn't sure what to expect, as I had never been to a professional spa before, but Hershey was pretty simple to figure out. There are always attendants around to show you where to go, which I was thankful for because the place is huge and a little like a maze. I appreciated that they come find you for your treatments so you have less chance of getting lost and missing appointments (which I definitely would have, if left to my own devices because I am directionally challenged lol). As for the treatments themselves, I had the spa rain shower first, which was good. Bring a swimsuit for it, as an attendant is in the room with you, which I did not expect. You get in the shower which has faucets hitting you from all angles (nice), but then the attendant uses a pressure hose on your palms, bottoms of feet, back, etc. It does feel nice, but it also feels like you're in a biological decontamination unit (maybe that was just me - it made me laugh more than it made me uncomfortable). Next, I had a sugar scrub. My attendant was nice and was comfortable to talk to - you're completely nude (sensitive areas are covered), but it is a little vulnerable if you're not used to it. My attendant was good at putting me at ease and being professional. The scrub was awesome, smelled good, and it was very relaxing. I had a massage next - the man who did mine was very good, very professional, and made sure I was comfortable. The music was relaxing, and they allowed me to choose the scent I wanted. Pressure was always enough to feel good, never too much to be uncomfortable, and, as a woman, I felt very comfortable and safe with their male masseuse. It was the perfect amount of time, too. The last treatment of the day was a manicure, which I think was my favorite part because my technician was awesome. She helped me pick a good color and didn't mess up any of my nails, which I've experienced from nail technicians in the past. She was also gentle around my cuticles. My nails look fabulous. Lunch had a good variety, and the drinks were tasty (though not complimentary). We were all able to sit together and go back to the buffet as many times as we wanted. Check it more than once because they'll change out desserts and you don't want to miss any of those :) Overall, I would definitely go again! It is definitely pricey, so I am glad work paid for it and not me, but it would be worth it to splurge on my own.
