  • One of my favorite places to go to bird watching, always see something different, but the last two weeks in April and early May is when the magic takes place. The variety and numbers of birds is incredible. I was there on April 22nd and saw 50+ different species. Across the street is a lot that also attracts a lot of birds. On the 22nd I was greeted by a Common Yellowthroat Warbler who offered to share his breakfast and then sang me a song. I have included a series of photos of the Yellow Throated Warbler and just a few other pictures for your enjoy enjoyment. Also take bug spray!!!!
  • An overall outstanding outdoor experience. Spring migration is especially impressive, with hundreds of thousands of birds shopping by on their annual trip North. The volunteers are also top notch and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend it highly enough to do it justice. You simply have to go and experience it for yourself.
