DuBois Farms, Highland

4.1
Farmers Market · Hidden Gem · Farm
Fifteen years ago, in an attempt to keep the small farming industry alive, we purchased an abandoned farm, which was destined to be sold entirely for development. In that time, we have replanted orchards and vineyards to include the newer and much sought after varieties of fruit, and revitalized neglected fruit trees into a healthy and vigorous condition in order to produce some of the older, much loved varieties of fruit as well. Alongside our fresh selection of fruits and vegetables, we also offer a heartwarming selection of baked goods, including some of the best apple cider donuts in the valley, as well as weekend recreational activities like barbecue events, tractor-pulled wagon rides, a corn maze and a petting zoo. Whether the family wants to enjoy a peaceful afternoon picking a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, or enjoy all of the various family fun activities we offer, everyone can expect to have a fun and pleasant time at DuBois Farms.

  • There are way too many people this year due to COVID 19. Otherwise it's a good farm with great GALA apples.  more »

  • If you are looking for to spend a nice time in a gorgeous place this is it!! The grounds are beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly and the fruits are out of this world!!! The nectarines were sugar sweet as were the apples and all that we picked!! The fruits were well worth their price. Get ready to spend a few hours in this beautiful place. Also an excellent place if you are coming with children. They have small little structures for the children to play in that are very cute and the children had a great time.
  • I grew up in the town next door and this is hands down my favorite farm in the area. It has an authentic and wholesome charm and you really feel like it's a hidden and untouched gem. A lot of the surrounding farms get bus loads of people from the city but they really do a good job at preserving the space and only accepting patrons that respect their beautiful land. Fun, friendly and highly recommend!!
