The Museum @ Black Hills Institute, Hill City

So many T-rex's! My inspired paleontologist in training was absolutely delighted with this meseum. For the space, it was incredible how they set it up and the hands on features were awesome. They had an area for my 3 year old to hold a dinosaur toy and carry it around while we were there. I did not feel like I had to keep my kids from signing their favorite dinosaur songs and squealing with excitement as we went through the exhibits. Of course we tried to be respectful of other patrons while there, thankfully there were not many. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and almost as enthusiastic as my 6 year old! They loved how she was eagar to learn and listened patently while she rattled of her top ten favorite dinosaur's. Definitely worth another trip up there!

Jam packed museum for dino and fossil lovers. A bit crowded together but still enjoyable. Tickets admission last a year so good value if you wish to visit more than once
