  • Was a privilege to visit the birthplace of the first woman to win both the Pulitzer and the Nobel prize for literature for her book "The Good Earth". Also a movie. The home is very well preserved.....  more »

  • Most people don't know who pearl s buck is much less why visit her birthplace I grew up with this in my backyard. Hillsboro is wonderful quaint small-town some place to visit if you want to get away from it all.
