  • Excellent museum! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the collection is extensive and well presented. Take advantage of one of the guided tours if possible; the guide we had been there 15 years and was very knowledgeable about the exhibits and history of both the property and the Rice's. There is a gift shop with quite a lot of rock specimens for sale. There are periodic events held on the grounds which also have some places to picnic. Highly recommended.
  • I loved this museum! Dylan and Elizabeth are so kind and knowledgable. The amazing examples of petrified wood, agates, crystals, a meteor and more will keep you busy for awhile! The gift shop has a varied selection of gems, books and other items. I found some beautiful necklaces and gifts. here is so much to learn and admire at this museum. Be sure to visit!
