  • One of the most BEAUTIFUL places I have ever been to. Duke Farms is truly one of New Jersey's treasures...one of the reasons we call it "The Garden State." I was in complete awe the entire time there. Our family spent 3.5 hours touring the grounds and we still have tons more to go back to see. This beautiful place is perfect for walks, bike rides (there are bike rentals here, just make sure to bring your helmets-they are required) and hikes. So many trails and beautiful things to see! The ground admission is free! Make sure to stop at the visitors center to get a map (you WILL need it!) and speak to one of the kind, friendly volunteers! Wear comfortable shoes and bring a stroller if you have small children...you will be walking a LOT! Make sure to pack some food along and have a picnic! You and the family will LOVE Duke Farms! Below are some photos I took of our day here at Duke Farms! Enjoy!
  • Great farmer's market on Sundays (spring into fall). Lots of vendors and great selection. Fruits, veggies, breads, honey, ready-made meals. The miles of walking and biking trails are beautiful. Lots are paved so it's very enjoyable. Nice little lakes and meadows. Great place to spend an afternoon.
