A nicely preserved historic site that forces you to read and imagine what it would have looked like during the Civil War. A couple of cannons and some good interpretive signs make for a good experience. You need to ask permission at a security gate where you will be given a day pass to visit only the Fort site.

A nice little historical stop in a gated community. When entering we just said we were going here and they gave us a pass for our car, unfortunately that meant we weren't able to walk around any other parts of the area because it was specific to this one location. It's a nice stop though and we had it all to ourselves.
