  • This can be a quick spot to visit or a place to hike, which we did not do. It was beautiful and went nicely with the birth place and the museum. You can probably see all 3 in 2 hours.  more »
  • Loved stopping here and learning the history. Our kids loved it as well. Lots of history here. If you like learning about history and being able to put yourself where they stood then this is a must...  more »
  • Definitely worth the drive to get there. Being able to see and to walk into the home gives a great perspective of challenges of frontier life. The grounds are very well maintained. It's nice to look over the grassy valley where Lincoln lived as a boy. I would have liked to have time to walk the trails around the property and to Knob Creek.
  • After watching the video at Lincoln's birthplace, we had to see this place. It definitely is an untouched part of history. It is peaceful and beautiful. What would have been nice though would be the ability to go inside the tavern that is located there.
