The Lincoln Museum, Hodgenville

This little gem is right down the road from the National Historical birthplace. The museum was really nicely put together and offered an in-depth deep dive in about a 2 hour time walkthrough should you be willing to read each exhibit. The paintings were really nice and the penny log cabin was really cool. For a small cost of $7 per person it was money well spent and it was only a short 45 minute drive for us from home. The building was two stories and offered a historical chronological walk through of Lincolns life. Being in healthcare I also enjoyed the Nurse uniforms. They also offered some small souvenir items for sale at reasonable prices. Well worth the trip especially for a school or home schooled children and children of all ages including my bride and I.

Phenomenal self guided tour with a lot of History. Great tour that will engulf you into the rich history of our 16th president. Absolutely great tour for 5 dollars. Can be as long as a quick walk through to couple hours long if you'd like.
