Had to stop to see the world’s largest petrified wood tree! Free! Shop was filled with souvenirs, rocks, petrified wood, clothing, art, moccasins. Easy on and off the freeway. more »

Lots to see at this place, both inside and out. Gorgeous scenery and some of the largest pieces of petrified wood in the world. Lots of souvenir items and local merchandise. Definitely worth a detour. more »

I've stopped here many times over the year's when traveling the US66 runs with my motorcycle friends LA to Chgo. But I do highly recommended this to anyone looking for a good place to buy some suviners that you can't get anywhere else. I've seen it closed in the winter sometimes due to snow.
