    Be prepared for a lot of steps to and from the beach along with some climbing the sand dunes. There is a small public section of the beach however you're free to walk the shore. One port-o-potty...  more »

    Absolutely gorgeous beach and huge dunes. Unfortunately the stairs have seen better days. I doubt they will make it through the next winter as the dunes have already reclaimed significant portions of the steps. The other big issue is parking, there are less than 20 legal spots, and the county sheriffs often patrol and ticket illegally parked vehicles. However if you can time your visit right, you will have one of the prettiest beaches and dune ecosystems in the country to enjoy swimming and sunsets.
