  • We heard about this park while at the nearby Crypto Paranormal museum in Littleton. There are different areas to park, and you can go kayaking and hiking. Trails are well-kept, and marked. Nice...  more »
  • We used this small campground as a stop over on our way home. It is about ten miles off I-95. The sites have electric but no water. Water is available in various places in the campground so you just have to fill up prior to parking. The sites are large and private. Most are gravel but they do have two accessible cement sites. The restrooms were clean. There was no AT&T cell coverage so my teenagers complained briefly but then we had some nice family time free of electronics. There are trails but we did not have time to explore beyond the campground. I would recommend staying overnight or for an extra night if you want to explore the trails but would not recommend as a multi day destination. Make sure you bring food with you as it is not close to any amenities. We will definitely consider camping here again on future trips up north and I’m not sure why more people were not utilizing it.
  • Enjoyed cookout with my family. Not so easy to find because GPS turned off before we reached the actual pavilion. Would be nice to have signs posted to inform visitors how far they have to travel before you reach the pavilion as well as a map of the park posted at the Visitors Center. Internet service is actually non-existent in this location.
