  • Captain Dan McSweeney's Whale Watching Adventure was awesome! Make sure to get there well ahead of the check-in time so you can get a good seat up top (we couldn't find the meeting spot so were back of the line). Captain Dan and his crew were very knowledgeable, doing mini-presentations about the whales around Hawaii. We spotted multiple whales and had a lovely morning on the water, so overall it was worth the trip. However, if you visit Hawaii and just scan the shore from the beach, you are likely to see whales in the winter. We saw more whales breaching and tail flaps just from a beach north of Kona!
  • Absolutely loved it!! First timer here. I think we saw 8, lost track. Greatly enjoyed the educational tidbits that we were told. Captain Dan is very knowledgeable and was telling us which way to look to help us see them.Would definitely do again, if I have the opportunity.
