Keauhou Store, Holualoa

This place is wonderful. I really appreciate the way they preserve the history of the shop and the local area. It's a gem of an old store. Go in and dig around, there are a lot of little vintage surprises to be found. But really it's just a cool general store carrying on the tradition of the original owner started in 1919. Get some produce or a sandwich and a six pack. Go to the north side of the building and through the concrete archway, which the shop owner had built himself. Down the hill you'll find a beautiful old Japanese cemetery, tucked away under the trees, graves in various states of ruin.

Really great old store and has excellent burgers! Owners are very friendly
